Успехите на TSMC по усвояването на 7 нм процеса миналата година позволи на компанията да сключи договор с Qualcomm за производството на Snapdragon 855. В същото време, по думите на американския производител на чипове, технологиите на Samsung на този етап са се оказали по-конкурентоспособни от тези на TSMC.
Samsung вече започна да използва 7 нм EUV техпроцес за флагманския чипсет Exynos, която вероятно ще намери приложение в Galaxy Note 10.
